When crises strike, individuals shouldn't have to worry about how they're going to get dressed for work or school.

Our Voucher Program allows us to meet people's needs for clothing and household items.  Over 40 agencies in the Fox Valley region refer people to us when they need appropriate winter clothes, outfits for job interviews or work, and basic household items.

We asked our Clothing Manager Sue to put together a wardrobe for under $40--the amount an individual receives if a partner agency refers them to us for a voucher.  Here's what she came up with: two shirts with jeans and jean shorts, a skirt with two shirts, a bathing suit, and a dress, all perfect for spring, summer, and even fall.

We meet them where they are by providing store vouchers.

In some ways, our Voucher Program illustrates the high-impact cycle we can create as a community.  When people donate high-quality items to our store, we can make them available to economically-disadvantaged individuals--and we can sell them to enhance the scope of our operation.  Voucher recipients are empowered to move out of cyclical poverty, and we're able to help more people achieve their fullest potential.

Voucher Program referrals can be brought to our main office, located at 1924 W. College Ave., to be processed Tuesday & Thursday, 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, or by appointment.  In order for a voucher to be processed, you must provide a valid photo ID.  If you have any questions about the Voucher Program, please contact our Next Step Coordinator, Mary Meyers, at 920-739-1679, or email nextstep@svdpappleton.org.
