At St. Vincent de Paul, we’re more than just a thrift store—we’re neighbors helping neighbors, and that’s really what it all comes down to. While many people know us through our stores, it’s the work those stores support that truly makes us who we are. Every purchase helps us assist individuals and families in our community who are struggling—whether they need help with rent, utility bills, food, gas, or simply a warm coat or a bed to sleep in.

Our Home Visit Volunteers, called Vincentians, come from local Catholic parishes. These parish-based groups are called Conferences. Vincentians go out in pairs to meet with neighbors face-to-face, listen to their stories, and offer not just support, but hope. Sometimes that means financial assistance; other times, it means connecting someone with additional resources or simply being there with compassion and kindness.

More people in our community are reaching out for help, and we want to be there for our neighbors when they need us most. But we can’t do it alone. With your support, we can continue walking alongside our neighbors through difficult times, helping meet their immediate needs and reminding them that they are not alone.
