Community Relations Manager

Position Summary: This position works closely with the Executive Director and Board of Directors in all development and fundraising endeavors. The Community Relations Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the organization’s fundraising efforts including grant writing, major gifts, planned giving, special events and campaigns. The manager is responsible for coordinating SVdP’s communications including website, social media outlets, monthly newsletters, press releases, marketing and advertising for special events, programs and fundraising.

Accountability: Works with leadership team for project collaboration and communication; responsible to Executive Director.

Schedule: Salary, 40 hours per week that may include some weekends or evenings.
