According to the CDC, insufficient sleep is a public health concern.  Imagine your life without a bed.

We launched the Bed Program in 2016 to provide individuals in need with beds for no cost.  Within the first six months of inception, SVdP recognized over 130 households where families and children were without beds and sleeping on the floor.  Through the Bed Program, we identify these families' needs through home visits--a process that also allows our trained volunteers to connect individuals with wraparound care options that make a difference in their ability to meet their basic needs and move toward self-sufficiency

Having a bed provides a sense of comfort and dignity. We believe that everyone deserves a chance to feel this way.

What we’ve accomplished:

In 2017, we provided beds for 489 people.  Learn more about the program here, and give directly to our efforts to meet the enduring need for beds through this campaign.
