Join our volunteer team!
Each year, over 300 people volunteer their time at St. Vincent de Paul of Appleton.  Some volunteer a few hours a week or month. Others are here several times a week. Some have volunteered at St. Vincent de Paul for more than 30 years. Others are newcomers. Many are members of area Catholic churches, but our volunteers represent a cross section of all faiths. Our volunteers are a talented, dedicated group of people who are working to support our mission.

Like that of its founder, Frederic Ozanam, the vision of The Society of St. Vincent de Paul, "is to embrace the world in a network of charity." We need you, to help us help others! In 2015, St. Vincent de Paul Appleton provided over $430,000 in merchandise and financial aid to help local families meet their basic needs of food, shelter, clothing, transportation, medical care and more. If you've been looking for an outreach opportunity where even a few hours of your time will matter...this is it! We hope you join our team, make new friends, enjoy the snacks and goodies in our break room and most importantly, feel good about volunteering to help our neighbors in need.

St. Vincent de Paul Appleton is opening a new business venture this holiday season, Coffee for Charity.

It will be open at Northland Mall on November 24, 2017 (Black Friday) through the end of December 2017.

Coffee, hot chocolate, water and baked goods will be available for purchase. All proceeds from Coffee for Charity go toward St. Vincent de Paul Appleton's mission of helping our neighbors meet their basic needs (we assist with food, shelter, clothing, housewares, transportation, medical bills, mentoring, employment opportunities and more). We are in need of volunteers for Coffee for Charity.

Shifts run 9AM - 11AM, 11AM - 1PM, and 1PM - 3PM every Friday and Saturday starting on Black Friday through the end of December.

We need approximately 4 volunteers per shift on the following days: 11/24, 11/25, 12/8, 12/9, 12/15, 12/22,12/23, 12/29 and 12/30. Also, some local businesses are providing funds to purchase needed supplies on the day that they volunteer ($250 per day). However, please know that you do not need to provide funds to participate.
